About Us

Vinyasa is not just a space, it is HOME

Our Story

Vinyasa has always been and will always be a home for artists. Here is why.

Sankalp Sharma, a dancer by profession, had his own artistic struggles. Be it figuring out the 3 hour commute to the studio, staying in a cramped space to pursue art, find a space to showcase it, and the daily errands wondering what to have for meals. In, 2020 while travelling abroad to pursue dance, with full scholarship, Sankalp was sent back to India from his layover in Dubai as the pandemic )Covid) was announced. Coming back to India, he decided to incubate his thought of an artist village.

The vision of the space since then has been to build a safe and non judgemental space to create art. A space where the energy of creating art is sacred and other living related efforts (good bed to sleep, healthy meals 3 times a day, and all the support needed to nusrture the artist so that the artist can create art. Since then we have our artists family members connected all around the world!
